Wasting or Saving Money? You Decide...

                                        
I happened to be watching “ The World’s Funniest Videos” this past Sunday night and there was a segment showing people trying to save money by doing their own installations on various home projects.

One man was washing the windows of his two story house standing on a high ladder using a squeegee with an extension. He fell off the ladder onto his back as the person holding the camera was laughing.

Another gentleman was trying to install his new HDTV flat screen when the weight of the set got the better of him and he went sailing to the floor as the set went crashing to the ground in pieces.

A third person thought he would save a few bucks trying to cut down a giant tree that was blocking the view of his front porch. He did manage to cut down the tree but unfortunately made the cuts in the wrong place and the tree came down on top of the porch destroying it and the whole side of his home.

Although the segments were quite funny, in reality these people not only put their lives in jeopardy but cost themselves a lot more money in the long run.

Some things should just be left to the professionals. Be safe and save some money…..Merry Christmas!
